The Snowseed team is challenging new businesses for the future based on the corporate philosophy of pioneering, coexistence, and hope.
The blockchain-based market seemed to have completely collapsed, but in January 2024, the market began to stir again along with the value of Bitcoin. The Bitcoin halving in April and the US presidential election in November will be factors that will shake the market, and in the market where the Ethereum mainnet was dominant, the Solana mainnet is dominating the market along with meme coins and NFTs. Snowseed also wants to push for renewal once again by establishing a firm vision at the moment when it is taking the lead in the RWA market based on the Solana mainnet and moving forward with the vision of basic income and coexistence. We are ready to create a sensation once again, and we hope to document the process in writing and create a space where we can communicate with holders who will be with Snowseed.
Before starting Snowseed, CEO Ryan and Director Kim Jae-min were agents between Korea and Indonesia, connecting domestic companies to Indonesia and Indonesian companies to Korea. Although I cannot reveal the names of the companies here, they have visited major domestic companies and were able to pursue various new businesses with them. Even now, Korean companies are preparing well for business in Indonesia, and Indonesian companies are also receiving Korean technology and expanding their business throughout Indonesia.
The role of the agent was clear. Indonesian politics is centered on Indonesians and businesses are centered on overseas Chinese with roots in China, so there are some who see the ‘guanxi’ culture as an insurmountable barrier for businesses to advance into Indonesia, but if relationships are well formed, it is a country with a clear advantage in that anything can be done without hesitation. The connections made at Buckingham Holdings were sufficiently formed to enable us to connect with Korean companies and do business smoothly, and Buckingham’s business also started through these relationships.
However, while working as an agent, I always had a passion for NFTs in my heart, and one of the most regrettable things I heard while working with Buckingham was that the only thing I heard was a negative outlook on the NFT market.
“NFTs are over now. Isn’t NFT a scam?”
I think it’s something I’ve heard too much and hurt too much. I kept it in my heart with the belief that NFT is not just a simple role like NFT PFP, but the role that can provide visual pleasure for the first time in the Web 3.0 market and that it will grow into a value that opens the door to a new era of business in the future. With the fall, the outlook for the NFT market began to emerge one after another, and I didn’t think that we would just give up the business that we do best, which has reached the peak in Korea. Also, the market was growing enough to show more trading volume than before on a platform called MagicEden, centered around North America and Solana, so it was because of the outlook that the market would definitely have an impact in Korea. That’s why we started planning the Snowseed platform around the end of the fall of 2023.

In addition, since there are far fewer legal sanctions and regulations than in Korea, we have been relatively free to conduct business in various fields.
We do not only do business related to Indonesia, but we had to start by creating an RWA based on business conducted in Indonesia, so the value of the Indonesian market was very significant to us.
With the above goals in mind, we needed a word that could combine excellent real-world businesses, NFT’s unique strengths, and concisely express the new economic concept of the Web3 era. We listened to many opinions and explained the meaning, and after considering various factors, we decided on the name “Snowseed.”
The meaning of Snowseed was as follows.
Snow ball : Snowball is a word that means snowball. It means that a snowball rolls down a slope and swallows up the surrounding snow and grows as it grows with a long-term perspective.
Snowseed : It combines the meanings of snow ball and seed to mean that we will roll a small snowball to grow our business and increase our influence.
In that way, we started with a small NFT project company and wanted to announce the start of an unprecedented project not only in Korea but also in Asia and around the world.
CEO Ryan stepped down after firmly maintaining the №1 position in the K-NFT market with a super-gap strategy starting with Metakongz. It was at the moment when it was successfully established in the Korean market and was turning its eyes to overseas markets that it failed to achieve its goal due to the Mekong shareholder dispute. It is still regrettable and lingering, and it is understandable that it was not able to unfold the spirit of coexistence and Web3 that CEO Ryan and Director Kevin were trying to achieve… It was the moment of birth of Snowseed, an extension of the vision and goals that Metakongz was trying to implement.

Creating a new word called SNO.
SNO (Special NFT Offering) was created by borrowing the advantages of the STO Securities Act proposed in January 2024. We were confident that NFTs that could break down the barriers to individual investment like RWA without being affected by the Securities Act would become the paradigm of the next-generation NFT market. That’s how we came up with the new word SNO and planned the Snowseed platform accordingly.
After establishing the vision and goals as above and completing all the planning, we needed a company that could provide actual output. Naturally, we had LAON B&P in mind. In fact, there was no other company we could consider besides LAON B&P.

In the middle of December 2023, I called CEO Jang Jin-jeon of LAON B&P and asked how he was doing. I made a promise to visit him and stopped by the LAON B&P office in Songdo, Incheon. CEO Jang Jin-jeon said that he thought it was just a greeting to say hello and that he was planning to make Snowseed, but he was flustered and said that he had never dreamed that he would come with such a big project and ask me to complete everything from planning to composition. At that time, we had a marathon meeting that lasted about 9 hours.
“Is it possible to make Snowseed in a month?”
In response to this question, CEO Jang Jin-jeon stuttered and said, “We have to do it no matter what.” At that time, LAON B&P had invested 2/3 of its staff and said that it believed in the potential of Snowseed. We discussed and created various things such as Snowseed’s logo, business card, design draft, page details, additional content, and how to efficiently deliver content to blockchain developers, and as a result, we created and opened the Snowseed platform in a month.

After working all night for a month, I understood how Metaconz could progress so quickly. I know that CEO Jang Jin-jeon, CEO Hwang Hyun-ki, and Director Kim Jae-min have worked together since the real estate startup and Metakongz days, and have been working on multiple projects simultaneously. CEO Jang Jin-jeon knew CEO Hwang Hyun-ki’s personality well, and although it can be confusing in the development area where planning and work must be started at the same time, and even if one modification can overturn everything, he considered such exceptional situations and carried out all the work.
Also, the most important thing is the communication time between tasks. The feedback from CEO Jang Jin-jeon was so fast that it was almost immediate, and he even gave us a lot of additional feedback so that we could make better decisions. The results were produced at an incredible speed that ordinary IT companies cannot even imitate, and it was possible because of LAON B&P.
LAON B&P is the company that most closely matches the super gap strategy among the action guidelines, which states that the difference that cannot be surpassed and the speed of decision and execution determine the success or failure of an organization and an individual.
CEO Ryan is a person who has a startup spirit to his bones. The most important things in such a startup are speed, determination, and producing results, but it was impossible for CEO Ryan to do this alone. However, CEO Jang Jin-jeon knew better than anyone what kind of vision he had for the business, and unlike other companies, despite having to do planning and work at the same time, he kept up with the speed and presented almost perfect results without many modifications. In a way, you could say that LAON B&P is one of the best companies in Korea.
That’s how Snowseed started, and it continues to be inseparable from CEO Jang Jin-jeon.
We predicted that the future market would enter the era of RWA NFT based on trust, and we planned our first project based on RWA NFT, which combines NFT and real business.
The predecessor of Snowseed’s first project was PDT photodynamic technology.
PDT, or photodynamic therapy, is a treatment method that literally uses light. By injecting a photosensitizer into the blood vessels, the photosensitizer accumulates in cancer tissue, and a laser of a specific wavelength is irradiated to selectively destroy only cancer cells. The photosensitizer used in photodynamic therapy was successfully mass-produced in Belarus, and Buckingham Holdings has the exclusive rights in Indonesia. At that time, Siloam Hospital contacted me to conduct a clinical trial of PDT cancer treatment together, and this was the beginning of my relationship with Lippo Group. Later, it became an opportunity to work together on a franchise project to open 70 PDT cancer hospitals. CEO Ryan had two concerns.
The profitability of the business conducted by Buckingham Holdings Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as Buckingham) is a large business that can bring unprecedented profits to me and investors.
