Full Apology from Hwang Hyun-ki, Kim Jae-min, and Former Metakongz Co-Founders

Hello,

I am Mr.Ryan, co-founder and former COO of Metakongz.

I bow my head in apology to the Metakongz, G.rilla, Super G.rilla, LGO, and Babykongz holders, as well as to all those in the K-NFT industry who suffered great damage due to the internal conflict between Metakongz executives.

We turned an issue that could have been resolved internally into something far too big. As a result, we created the worst possible situation, where Metakongz and NFT prices plummeted. What’s even more embarrassing is that I did not realize the gravity of the situation until it was pointed out by you. I am truly sorry.

It may seem futile now, two years later, but I will do my best to compensate Metakongz, G.rilla, Super G.rilla, LGO, and Babykongz holders.

I have endured more than two years of hardship due to false accusations from a Telegram operator. I was labeled with various terms like “embezzler of corporate funds,” “corporate card misuse,” “second-hand country fraudster,” “high-amount tax evader,” “real estate scam planner,” and “executive who bought a Benz S-Class for his family using corporate funds.” However, these accusations are not true.

Metakongz Co., Ltd. was a company where Mirae Asset, one of Korea’s best firms, was a shareholder. It makes no sense for me to have misused corporate money in such a careless manner. When these allegations became a hot topic in the Telegram room, Mirae Asset initiated an intensive accounting audit.

An audit that could have been completed in about a week was instead conducted over the course of a month, as if the company were listed on the stock exchange. The audit concluded that there were no issues. If there had been a problem, Mirae Asset would have filed a lawsuit against me in the fall of 2022. Furthermore, the former CFO of Metakongz is a highly capable individual who has worked at a company owned by BlackRock.

Though I made mistakes, I always worked earnestly toward the dream of globalizing the K-NFT industry through Metakongz.

I am fully aware that because of my actions, the credibility of the Korean NFT market has plummeted, and many people have suffered financial and emotional damage. I have not forgotten this over the past two years. I will dedicate my life to contributing to the development of the K-NFT and metaverse industries.

I will also work tirelessly until the day I can fully compensate the Metakongz, G.rilla, Super G.rilla, LGO, and Babykongz holders. Over the past two years, I have been working hard to make that happen. We are involved in various business ventures in Indonesia, and recently, we launched Snowseed, a specialized RWA NFT platform.

Finally, I have an announcement to make.

We will be starting anew with ‘New Metakongz’ (tentative name).

New Metakongz will be a secondary creation of the existing Metakongz, and we will airdrop the ‘New Metakongz’ (tentative name) on the Solana chain to holders who apply.

Of course, I don’t know if this will satisfy you. You may not have any expectations at all. However, I will not be discouraged and will always strive to work hard. I am determined to work until the day the glory of the original K-NFT is restored.
